Melissa Kavanagh is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in people and culture management. Currently serving as the Group Manager for People & Culture at Smithbridge Group since February 2023, Melissa's prior roles include HR Manager at Steel Mains, where a focus on cultural change and effective human resources support was emphasized. With a diverse background at Boeing, where Melissa held multiple HR managerial positions, and earlier recruitment consulting roles at Schweppes Australia, Crown Resorts, Principal Consulting, and SouthTech, Melissa has a solid foundation in recruitment and workforce planning. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Workplace and Employment Law and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Monash University, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Western Sydney University.
