Colleen McConnaughey

Colleen McConnaughey has over 40 years of work experience, primarily in the field of Human Resources. Colleen is currently working as the Regional Human Resources Director at Smithfield Foods. Prior to this, Colleen held the position of Manager, Human Resources at Smithfield Farmland for 13 years. Colleen also served as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations at North Side Foods Corp., and as a Manager of Human Resources at both Giant Eagle and Concurrent Technologies Corporation. Colleen began their career as a Secretary at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Colleen McConnaughey holds a B.S. degree in Human Resources with a concentration in Labor Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained from 1981 to 1993. Prior to that, they attended Blairsville High School from 1974 to 1978. Colleen also completed an MA in Industrial and Labor Relations and an MBA in Business Administration (Management) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which they respectively earned from 1993 to 1994 and from 1994 to 1997.
