Andrew Blyth

Andrew Blyth has an extensive work experience in finance and IT leadership roles. Andrew started their career at Bayer, where they served as an Assistant Group Controller and later as a Group Financial Reporting Controller. Andrew then worked at South African Breweries and SABMiller, holding various financial management positions within the supply chain and divisional finance. During this time, they also managed finance projects and worked as a Strategic Financial Planner. Andrew's career took him to Asahi Breweries Europe Ltd, where they briefly served as the Director of Global Business Services and Chief Information Officer. Andrew later joined Coca-Cola European Partners as an advisory for business process management and transformation. Andrew then worked at ARcuBit Limited as an Interim Transformation Executive and took a planned break for charity work. Most recently, they joined Smiths Group plc, first as the Director of Finance Excellence and later as the Vice President of Finance Excellence and IT Programmes.

Andrew Blyth holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they obtained between 1991 and 1994. Andrew also completed their Chartered Secretary and Administrator degree at the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in 1995. In 1996, they pursued a Chartered Management Accountant degree at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Additionally, Andrew completed a year of studies at Glenwood Boys High School in 1989 and attended Grey High School in 1987 and 1988. Andrew is also an Associate General Accountant AGA, having studied Accounting and Finance at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
