Jerome Vacher

Jerome VACHER has extensive experience in operations, procurement, and supply chain management. Jerome currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations & Transformation at Smiths Interconnect. Prior to this, they served as the Group head of Procurement & Supply Chain at Smiths Group plc from 2019 to 2021, and as the Group head of Procurement from 2017 to 2021. Before joining Smiths Group plc, Jerome held leadership roles at GKN Driveline and GKN, where they served as Vice President Purchasing and Supply Chain for GKN CVJ and Vice President Purchasing Asia Pacific for GKN. Jerome also worked at TREVES as a Global Commodity Director and Program Purchasing Director, and at Faurecia as a Strategic Sourcing Director and Sourcing Manager China. Overall, Jerome has gained extensive expertise in various aspects of procurement, supply chain, and strategic sourcing throughout their career.

Jerome VACHER completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Université de Bretagne Occidentale from 1991 to 1993. Jerome then obtained a Master's degree in Purchasing from Nantes Business Management (ESAP) between 1993 and 1995. In 2017, they briefly attended UCLA to pursue a degree in Strategy and Leadership. Jerome later pursued a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from SBTI, where they studied from an unknown start year to 2022. Jerome VACHER also earned a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from the University of Oxford in 2019 and a CPIM certification in Supply Chain from APICS in the same year.
