Pætur Jakobsen

Pætur Jakobsen has a diverse work experience starting from 2007 when they worked as a skilled construction worker at JCC. Pætur then moved on to work at the Electrical company SEV, where they performed maintenance on the high voltage power grid from 2008 to 2010. From 2011 to 2012, Pætur worked at the Sundsverkið Power Plant. Afterwards, they joined Vattenfall's Amagerværket Power Plant for a short period. Pætur then worked as an engineer at KJ-elráð in 2012 and 2013. In 2014, they joined SMJ and served in the roles of engineer, project manager, department manager, and currently, as managing director.

Pætur Jakobsen has a diverse education history involving a range of fields of study. Pætur began their education as an apprentice carpenter in Tórshavn, where they gained skills and knowledge in carpentry. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering, with a focus on Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, at Maskinmesterskolen København. After completing their Bachelor's degree, Pætur Jakobsen went on to pursue a Master's degree in the School of Engineering and Science at Aalborg Universitet i København, specializing in the field of Cand.tech.
