Aslak Hellesøy

Aslak Hellesøy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Aslak currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at SMOC.AI, an AI-powered sales agent company. Aslak is also the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Open Art Market, where they built a platform for fractional art investment. Previously, Aslak worked at SmartBear as a Senior Technical Lead and Cucumber Open Source Lead. Aslak also founded CUCUMBER LIMITED and served as a Founder for several years. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at DRW Trading Group. Aslak's earlier experience includes roles at Bekk Consulting AS as Chief Scientist and CTO, ThoughtWorks as a Senior Developer, BEKK Consulting as a Manager, and Accenture as a Senior Consultant. Overall, Aslak has a strong background in technology leadership, software development, and entrepreneurship.

Aslak Hellesøy completed their Examen Artium in Natural Sciences at Fagerborg VGS from 1987 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse from 1992 to 1998.
