Marianne van Ooteghem

Marianne Van Ooteghem has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marianne began their career in 2013 as a Student Intern in the Import/Export Department at Schlumberger Argentina. Here, they were responsible for controlling invoices, bonds, and updating databases.

In 2014, Marianne joined PETROGREEN S.A. as a Procurement Officer. Their responsibilities included placing purchase orders, controlling contracts, and tracking purchases. Marianne also estimated costs and evaluated transaction costs.

In 2018, Marianne transitioned to Smoobu - The Vacation Rental Software. Marianne initially worked as a Business Development Manager, where they managed tasks for the Spanish and Latinoamerican market, planned product launches, and developed web activities.

Later, Marianne became the Operations Project Manager at Smoobu. In this role, they led the Support team, implemented effective processes and standards, and organized the Help Center to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for users.

Currently, Marianne serves as the Head of Sales & Support Ops at Smoobu. Their responsibilities include leading the IT Sales and Support team in multiple languages, implementing effective processes and standards, and managing IT solutions.

Marianne Van Ooteghem obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from UADE, specializing in Economics, from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended the Buenos Aires School from 2003 to 2010, where they obtained a Bilingual Bachelor in the English language specialized in Enterprise Management. Marianne also attended Shamrock Junior College from 1998 to 2002, but their degree and field of study are unknown.
