Finance Director SMS Installations at SMS

Geoff Schofield has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Geoff started their career as an Audit Assistant at Harris & Co in 1985 before moving on to McLean Homes Northern Ltd as an Assistant Accountant in 1988. In 1993, Geoff joined Ben Bailey Homes as a Financial Controller, where they introduced internal financial controls and was responsible for monthly reporting. In 1999, they joined Wincanton T/A Pullman Fleet Services as a Business Unit Controller, overseeing various financial functions and leading efficiency improvement projects. Geoff then joined Wincanton Container Logistics in 2011 as a Business Unit Controller, reporting to the Managing Director and managing financial control and management for the company. In 2016, they became the Finance Director SMS Installations at SMS Plc., where they currently hold a position.

Geoff Schofield completed their education at Wombwell High School, where they obtained their GCSE. Geoff then attended Barnsley College, where they earned a BTEC National Diploma in Business and Management. Finally, Geoff completed their education at Sheffield Hallam University, where they obtained a Certified Accountant degree in the field of Accounting.
