Tara Dunn has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Tara currently serves as the Director of Training and Education at the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Averatek as a Technology Consultant, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, and Technical Sales from 2013 to 2023. Before joining Averatek, Tara founded and served as the President of Omni PCB, a technical manufacturers rep for the printed circuit board industry. Tara was also the Founder of Geek-A-Palooza, which organized networking events for the electronics industry. Additionally, Tara held positions at Electrotek as a Business Development Manager, Coretec as a Regional Account Manager, and All Flex as the Director of Business Development.
Tara Dunn obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Tara pursued their education at the university from 1989 to 1993.
