Stephen Salaka

Stephen Salaka, PhD, MBA, PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience. Stephen is currently serving as the Global IT Director of Application Delivery at SMTC Corporation. Prior to this, they founded Kenpo Budokan Karate and has been teaching American Kenpo karate in Japan since 2005. Stephen also worked as the Director of Strategic Technology at Tsunami Tsolutions LLC., where they developed technical solutions and tools for the aerospace industry to solve their big data challenges. Additionally, they served as a Strategic Advisor at AdvisoryCloud and as an IT Management Consultant/Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Trainer at 28 Consulting. Stephen was the VP Engineering at Live Music Tutor, where they created a technology platform for music students to connect with instructors online. Stephen also held the position of VP of Professional Services, Digital (North America) at Atex, where they integrated digital CMS with existing print CMS. Stephen has also worked as the Senior VP of Information Technology Services at Wall Street Associates and as the CTO at Ashley Associates. Stephen'searlier work experience includes the role of Director of Information Technology at Nova Corporation Japan, where they implemented a set-top VOIP system for content delivery. Stephen Salaka, PhD, MBA, PMP has an extensive education background. Stephen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organizational Psychology from Walden University. Stephen also has a Graduate Certificate in Applied Data Science from the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Stephen earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Information Technology and Human Resources from Florida Metropolitan University. Stephen has a combined MS/BS degree in Applied Computer Science/Mathematical Sciences from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computational Physics and Mathematical Modeling from Virginia Tech. Stephen holds a High School Diploma with an AP focus from Eau Gallie High School. Stephen also has an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Nursing Informatics from Orlando Medical Institute. In terms of certifications, Stephen has various notable achievements.
