Gaston Lamascus

Gaston Lamascus is an experienced football coach and educator with a strong background in athletics and academia. Currently serving as a Graduate Assistant for the SMU Mustangs since February 2020, Gaston has previously held similar positions at Kansas Athletics from August 2018 to February 2020. Prior to these roles, Gaston gained valuable coaching and teaching experience at College Station ISD and Navasota Independent School District between August 2014 and May 2018. Gaston earned a degree in University Studies, focusing on Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from Texas A&M University from 2009 to 2013, and furthered education at The University of Kansas from 2018 to 2020.
