Sarah Beqaj

SMU Women’s Golf SAAC Representative at SMU Mustangs

Sarah Beqaj is currently a Summer Research Student at The Hospital for Sick Children, working in Dr. Rutka’s Lab within the Brain Tumour Research Centre as part of the SSuRe Program. Beqaj serves as the SMU Women’s Golf SAAC Representative, representing the team on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Previous experience includes an internship at Aguirre Medical Group, a role as a Summer Patient Care Technician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and work as a Physical Therapy Technician at 3DPT. Additionally, Beqaj interned with Dr. David Greenberg, handling medical records and conducting patient vital assessments. Beqaj is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Health Management and Applied Physiology at Southern Methodist University, having previously earned a high school diploma from The Benjamin School.
