Daniel Cervantes

Daniel Cervantes has a work experience that includes being a Principal OT Cybersecurity Engineer at SMUD since May 2023. Before that, they worked as a Principal Security Engineer at Zillow from July 2022 to April 2023. Prior to joining Zillow, Daniel worked at the City and County of San Francisco as a Senior OT Security Engineer from March 2009 to July 2022.

Daniel Cervantes holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Western Governors University. Daniel has obtained several certifications including Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals from Microsoft, and various certifications from GIAC Certifications such as GIAC Defensible Security Architecture, GIAC Security Operations Manager, GIAC Critical Controls Certification, GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence, GIAC Certified Incident Handler, and others.
