Daniel Cobb

Daniel Cobb has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT support. Daniel started their career as a Technical Systems Analyst at Intel Corporation in 2001 and later became an Information Security Analyst, responsible for securing vulnerabilities in critical systems. Daniel then worked at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah as an IT Systems Engineer, providing support and service to multiple offices. In 2012, they joined Caltrans as an SSSI Network Security, where they protected users and networking devices from threats. From 2016 to 2021, they returned to Intel Corporation, serving as an Information Security Engineer and later as a Lead Red Team Operator. In 2021, they joined Blue Shield of California as a Cyber Defense Specialist and is currently working as a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at SMUD.

Daniel Cobb has a CISSP degree from ISC2. In 2014, they obtained a GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) certification and a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification from GIAC Certifications.
