Ivan Guerra

Ivan Guerra is an experienced professional in the field of geosciences and business development, currently serving as the Business Development Manager for CCS and Carbon Removal at Snam S.p.A. since April 2021. Previously, Guerra held various positions at Snam in subsurface leadership and solution management for underground gas storage. Between 2012 and 2021, Guerra worked at Schlumberger as a Senior Structural Geologist, focusing on multiphysics integration and exploration in the Gulf of Mexico. Early career roles include a structural geologist at Midland Valley Exploration and research and teaching assistant positions at the University of Lausanne, University of Neuchâtel, and University of Victoria. Guerra holds a PhD in Geochemistry and Structural Geology from the Université de Lausanne - ETH Zurich, earned between 2006 and 2010.
