Kai Yang is currently a Senior Manager in Machine Learning Engineering at Snap Inc., leading teams focused on Search, Content Understanding, and Content Moderation & Quality since December 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Engineering at Motional, overseeing tracking and prediction systems, and Engineering Manager at Cruise, where the focus was on prediction modeling. Additionally, Kai held the role of Algorithm Engineer & Director at Pinduo, leading a large team responsible for significant revenue generation. A prior position as Staff Software Engineer at Facebook involved work on News Feed Recommendation. Educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Mechanics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
