Nga Than

Nga Than, PhD, is a proficient machine learning engineer currently employed at Snap Inc. since October 2025, with expertise in machine learning platforms and modeling foundations. As an associated researcher at The Graduate Center, City University of New York since August 2023, Nga Than is focused on utilizing large language models to analyze income inequality discourses. Previous experience includes roles at TikTok, where applications of multimodal ML models in e-commerce were developed, and at Prudential Financial, where Nga Than built GenAI applications to enhance productivity and customer insights, alongside utilizing NLP to improve customer experience.
