Scott Baron

Scott Baron has a long and varied work experience. Scott began their career in 2008 as an Electrical Engineering Intern at BAE Systems, where they designed a Matlab program to simulate system performance and established requirements for a power distribution system. In 2009, they joined Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they acted as a Matlab and Simulink C++ Code Generation subject matter expert and trained and mentored others in model development process and code generation methodology. In 2020, they moved to MathWorks as a Senior Application Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded SnapCalorie.

Scott Baron received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in 2009 and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Systems Engineering at Colorado State University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
