Temitope Ibrahim Lawal

Temitope Ibrahim Lawal has a diverse work experience spanning various legal roles. They are currently serving as the Director and Associate General Counsel for Super, focusing on e-Commerce, FinTech, Payments, and Innovation. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Counsel and Vice President at Citi.

Lawal also gained valuable experience as a Senior Attorney at the New York State Department of Financial Services. In this role, they developed expertise in financial market regulations and provided legal and regulatory advice to clients on payment systems and consumer financial products and services.

Lawal's previous experiences include serving as a Legal Advisor at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Sri Lanka to the United Nations, Graduate Researcher and Counsel at the Pace Energy & Climate Center, and Counsel at the Federal Ministry of Justice.

Temitope Ibrahim Lawal completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from the University of Lagos. They then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. Following this, Temitope attended the Nigerian Law School. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS), Scrum certifications, Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), Certified GDPR Professional, Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), Virtual Currency and Blockchain Practitioner, and Barrister and Solicitor from the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
