Mahmoud Lababidi

Mahmoud Lababidi, PhD, has a strong background in machine learning and data science. Mahmoud is currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at Snappt Inc, a position they started in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Square from December 2020 to August 2022 as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Before Square, they held the same role at Capital One from September 2018 to December 2020. From October 2014 to September 2018, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Maxar Technologies. Beyond their industry experience, Mahmoud also has experience in teaching, as they served as a Data Science Instructor at General Assembly from September 2015 to 2017. Mahmoud started their professional career as a Physics Graduate Research Associate at George Mason University from June 2008 to August 2013. Mahmoud's early experience also includes roles as a Software Engineer at Clerkdogs from November 2006 to June 2007, and as a Junior Software Engineer Intern at EchoDitto from May 2006 to November 2006.

Mahmoud Lababidi, PhD obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics from George Mason University, which they attended from 2007 to 2013. Prior to this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Florida from 2003 to 2006.
