Andie Burton, ENP has a solid background in emergency communication and management. Currently, Andie is the Director of Operations at Snohomish County 911, a position held since November 2019. Prior to this role, Andie served as the Operations Manager at Snohomish County 911 from January 2018 to November 2019, where they worked closely with public safety agencies and vendors to ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of issues related to technology projects. Andie also has experience as the Interim System Manager/Critical Situation Manager at Snohomish County 911 from January 2016 to January 2018. Before joining Snohomish County 911, Andie worked as the Operations Manager at SNOCOM 911 from November 2012 to January 2018, and as the Team Supervisor at NORCOM 911 from July 2009 to October 2012. Andie's early career included roles as a 911 Dispatcher at Bellevue Police Department from October 1999 to June 2009, a 911 Dispatcher at Ventura County Sheriffs Department from January 1996 to October 1999, and a 911 Dispatcher at Santa Paula Police Dept from May 1994 to January 1996.

Andie Burton attended Northwest University from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in the School of Business - Criminal Justice. Additionally, they hold a certification in Emergency Number Professional from NENA: The 9-1-1 Association.

Located just north of Seattle and King County Washington, Snohomish County is home to more than 750,000 residents. In 2018 SNOPAC 911 and SNOCOM consolidated and formed Snohomish County 911.
