Kelsey Nyland

Kelsey Nyland has a diverse work experience in communications and public service. In 2017, they joined the City of Seattle and worked as a Correspondence Assistant for Mayor Jenny Durkan until 2019. Kelsey then served as a Communications Associate from 2019 to 2020 and later as the Press Secretary until 2021. In the same year, they became the Strategic Communications Advisor for Mayor Durkan. Currently, Kelsey is the Director of Communications for the Office of Recovery & Resilience in Snohomish County, WA. In this role, they are responsible for leading strategic communications and community outreach for the county's pandemic recovery funds.

Kelsey Nyland obtained a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from New York University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.
