Scott Jones

Scott Jones possesses extensive experience in mountain safety and emergency management. Currently serving as Ski Patrol at Snowbasin Resort since November 2019, Scott specializes in mountain safety, avalanche mitigation, and emergency medical services. As a member of the National Ski Patrol since January 1998, Scott is recognized for inventing the Portable Toboggan Carrier, now available through CASCADE RESCUE. Previously, Scott held multiple leadership roles at Calfire from June 2010 to June 2019, including Division Chief, focusing on Special Operations, and Battalion Chief, managing critical incident stress and fire analysis. Scott earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from California State University, Chico, and a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications and Interpersonal Relations from California State University, Long Beach.
