Timo Bozsolik

Timo Bozsolik has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and AI. Timo currently holds the position of Director of Engineering in the Machine Learning/AI Group at Snyk since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Google from 2021 to 2023 as a Senior Staff Engineering Manager in Machine Learning.

Before joining Google, Timo worked at Kaggle, a part of Google Cloud AI, from 2017 to 2021 as a Staff Software Engineer. Timo played a key role in democratizing machine learning and open data by managing the Datasets, Notebooks, and Cloud Integration teams. Timo contributed to creating Kaggle Datasets, which has become the world's leading data repository.

From 2015 to 2017, Timo worked as a Developer Advocate at Google, where they empowered Google Partners to automate their business using the AdWords API. Timo also built machine learning-based tools to optimize Ad performance and prevent churn.

Timo has also gained experience outside of the tech giants. From 2013 to 2014, they co-founded a machine learning quant trading startup called AI Investments LLC, where they served as the Co-Founder and CTO. Timo achieved significant success by consistently outperforming benchmark indexes.

Earlier in their career, Timo worked at PASS Consulting Group as the Head of Competence Center Migration Technologies from 2013 to 2014. Timo managed multiple teams and projects, ensuring the successful conversion of legacy applications to modern programming languages and platforms. Before that, they held various roles at PASS Consulting Group, including Senior Innovation Consultant and Junior Innovation Consultant.

In 2008, Timo worked as a Senior Software Engineer at mobiloclean Handelsgruppe GmbH & Co. KG, where they designed and implemented the web shop system and developed an internal group information system.

Additionally, they gained experience as a Student Employee at TONBELLER AG - BU Financial Solutions in 2009, where they designed and implemented a money-laundering detection system using AI and machine learning.

Overall, Timo Bozsolik has extensive experience in machine learning, AI, and software engineering, with a focus on leadership, technical innovation, and project management.

Timo Bozsolik pursued their education in computer science, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt. Timo attended this institution from 2004 to 2007. Continuing their studies, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Timo Bozsolik expanded their knowledge by engaging in a Postgraduate Diploma program in Computer Science at Monash University during 2008 and 2009.
