Andrew Berthoff

Andrew Berthoff is responsible for communications and marketing strategy, creative and execution at SOCAN. Joining the executive team in 2012, he manages the organization's Communications & Marketing department. Andrew has more than 20 years of experience working in public relations, communications and marketing, and was previously a senior vice president with one of North America's most successful public relations agencies. In his communications and marketing career Andrew has specialized in working with associations, nonprofits and technology companies, and has been recognized with more than 35 peer-reviewed awards for his work. He holds an APR (Accredited in Public Relations) certificate from the Canadian Public Relations Society, and is a frequent speaker and writer on professional communications. Andrew gained a BA from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and is one of the world's most well-known Highland bagpipers.
