Tamar Javakhishvili

Tamar Javakhishvili serves as the Deputy General Director for Marketing and Communications at SOCAR Energy Georgia as of September 2023, where responsibilities include coordinating events, public relations, and marketing strategies. With a solid background in academia, Tamar has been a lecturer at Caucasus University since January 2017, teaching Basic Marketing. Previous experience includes co-founding Georgia Starts Here, a travel-focused English language platform, and serving as Head of Digital Marketing at Making Science • Sweeft. In roles at the Georgian Co-Investment Fund, Silk Road Group, Tbilvino, and Georgian Industrial Group, Tamar demonstrated expertise in market research, branding, and sales. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Bologna Business School and a professional marketing diploma from CIM.
