Rebecca Colby

Rebecca Colby is currently the Associate Director at Social Finance. Rebecca has over seven years of experience in various engineering roles. Rebecca started their career as an intern at Space Exploration Technologies, where they worked on the development of Falcon 9 first stage landing gear. Rebecca then went on to work as a structures engineer for The Spaceship Company and Scaled Composites. In their most recent role as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Alpha Direct Insurance Co., Rebecca was responsible for strategic finance, partnership development, expansion strategy, and human resource strategy. Rebecca has a proven track record of operating effectively across cultures and contexts.

Rebecca Colby has a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a S.B. in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Rebecca is also certified by the Federal Aviation Administration in Private Pilot License, Airplane Single Engine Land, Instrument, and Glider.
