Amy Broxterman, SPHR has worked in the Human Resources field since 2004. Amy began their career as a Financial Center Manager at Wachovia Bank, N.A. in 2004. In 2009, they moved to Elephant Insurance Services, LLC as a Senior HR Generalist. In 2011, they were hired as a Senior Benefits Analyst at Allianz Global Assistance, where they managed the full-cycle RFP process and implementation, drafted employee benefit guides and enrollment materials, conducted Open Enrollment meetings, and worked with legal counsel to draft up-to-date legal documents for benefits plans. In 2015, they held two roles, Contract Benefits Analyst at Whiting Petroleum Corporation and Senior Benefits Advisor at Newalta. At Whiting Petroleum Corporation, they acted as a subject matter expert and consultant to the VP of HR, while at Newalta they provided benefit program oversight, strategic planning, plan design, reporting/analytics, and compliance support of the health and welfare and retirement plans. In 2017, they joined Brigade Energy Services as Director of Human Resources, where they facilitated an increase in staff from 25 to over 400 employees in under a year through the completion of two mergers. In 2019, they were hired as a Principal at BroxTek Solutions LLC and as a Human Resources Consultant at Canopy Growth Corporation, where they provided HR consultation and coaching to the US Leadership on a full range of HR topics. Most recently, in 2021, they were hired as the Human Resources Director at Social Native.

Amy Broxterman, SPHR obtained their Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Virginia Commonwealth University between 1998 and 2002. Amy then went on to receive their Masters in Human Resource Management from Keller School of Graduate Studies in 2008. In 2011, Amy obtained their Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
