Simone Deola is currently a PhD Executive at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, focusing research on NLP technologies and conversational algorithms. Additionally, Simone works as a Machine Learning Engineer at Social Thingum, developing machine learning solutions for clients using custom and ready-to-use technologies. Prior experience includes a brief tenure as a Full Stack Developer at PwC Italy, where Simone contributed to the development of small portals using Java and React. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, along with a secondary education in Computer Science with a specialization in industrial automation from ISIS Keynes di Gazzada.

Social Thingum® develops innovative ICT solutions and algorithms in the fields of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) and social e-learning. Our "Social & Smart" paradigm combines learning and interaction potentialities thanks to the synergy between Artificial Intelligence and Social Networks. Our team is formed by experts and university professors specialised in computer science and is invoved in projects of Research and Development and consultancy in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, e-Learning, Smart Living e Web & App Development. We developed the products WHOTEACH® and EASY 4.0 OUR PRODUCTS: Social Thingum has developed WHOTEACH®, a smart social network for e-learning that is able to foster the development of skills of company employees and students. Social Thingum is also working on the project EASY 4.0, another smart social network designed to help users to use their home appliances while saving money. The European Union has recognized our expertise during our collaboration in the development of European projects, such as NETT - in the fields of e-learning and artificial intelligence, that are the base in which WHOTEACH was tested - and SandS e Elliot - in the IoT field. We are developing WhoTeach®, an intelligent social e-learning platform that facilitates skill development for companies’ employees and students thanks to a powerful synergy between artificial intelligence and collaborative learning: WhoTeach is an innovative B2B web-based platform aimed at helping teachers to create contents and developing customized learning paths for learners.
