Sean Andersen

Sean Andersen has worked in the geospatial industry since 2012. From 2012-2013, they worked as a Geospatial Associate at SAIC. From 2013-2018, they worked as a Geospatial Analyst at Leidos. Since 2018, they have worked at Socially Determined in various roles, including Scrum Master & GIS Lead, Software Engineer, GIS Lead, GIS Lead, and Geospatial/GIS Analyst and Data Wrangler.

Sean Andersen obtained an Associate of Science - AS in General Studies from Northern Virginia Community College from 2008 to 2010. Sean then earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography from George Mason University between 2010 and 2012. In 2017 and 2018, they completed a Full Stack Web Developer program at The George Washington University. In 2021, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Sean is also set to receive a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in 2022.
