Kevin McManus has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 30 years. Kevin began their career as a Business Systems Analyst & Developer at Lawson Mardon Group in 1987. Kevin then served as an IT Project Leader at Lawson Mardon Flexible Packaging from 1991 to 1993. Following that, they worked as a Regional IT Manager, Ontario at Transcontinental from 1994 to 1996.
From 1997 to 2003, Kevin served as an ERP Consultant & Project Manager at Atos. Kevin then joined Maple Leaf Foods Inc in 2004 as an IT Project Manager and later became a SAP Functional Consultant, NA from 2008 to 2011. Kevin then served as a SAP Team Lead, UK from 2011 to 2012 and a Director, IT Shared Services from 2012 to 2013.
In 2013, Kevin joined Canada Lands Company, CN Tower, and Société du Vieux-Port de Montréal where they held the position of Director, IT Shared Services. In April 2018, they were promoted to the position of Senior Director IT & Cyber Security at these companies. In this role, they provided strategic leadership in the development, execution, and management of Information Technology and Information Security strategies.
Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated expertise in emerging technologies, cyber threat detection/prevention, office and business systems, and project management. Kevin has also displayed strong leadership skills, team building abilities, and a keen focus on relationship building.
Kevin McManus has a diverse education history. In 1994, they attended Ryerson University, where they studied Business Management until 1997. Following this, in 2003, they pursued a short-term course in Web Application Development at Ryerson University. In 2004, they returned to Ryerson University and began studying Supply Chain Management, completing their studies in 2007. Lastly, in 2014, they enrolled in the Senior Management Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Despite the absence of specific degree names, Kevin McManus has accumulated education in various areas related to management, supply chain, and web development throughout their academic journey.
