Angela Meadows is a highly experienced Molecular Imaging Specialist Advisor and current Head of PET CT Clinical Services at Alliance Medical Ltd, where employment began in January 2004. Angela has held various roles, including Unit Manager at the Preston PET/CT Centre and the Alliance Westmorland MRI Centre, leveraging nuclear medicine expertise in PET imaging. Additionally, Angela serves as Chair of the Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging Advisory Group at the Society and College of Radiographers since March 2016. Prior experience includes a notable position as a Clinical Tutor in Radiography at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which was pursued after specializing in nuclear medicine. Angela holds a Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nuclear Medicine from The University of Salford and a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography from the University of Leeds.

The Society of Radiographers is the trade union and professional body for radiographers and all non-medical members of the workforce in diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy in the UK. It is responsible for their professional, educational, public and workplace interests. The College of Radiographers is the charitable subsidiary of the Society and it exists for the benefit of the public. The College's objects are directed towards education, research and other activities in support of the science and practice of radiography. Together, the Society and College shape the healthcare agenda and lead opinion on a wide range of professional issues. We set the standards that become the policies adopted and acclaimed by governments and health professionals worldwide. In the workplace, we pioneer new ways of working and ensure that imaging professionals work in a safe and fair environment.
