Carson Taylor

Carson Taylor is a proficient mechanical engineer currently serving as the Thrust Chamber Team Lead and a member of the Ignitions Project Team at the Society for Advanced Rocket Propulsion, where responsibilities include engineering and testing specialized chemical igniters for high-impulse liquid bi-propellant rocket engines. Simultaneously, Carson contributes to the Mechanical Team - Hero Squad at Advanced Robotics at the University of Washington, focusing on the design and integration of a projectile feeding system for robots. Previously, Carson held leadership roles in Iron Patriots (First Robotics Team 4131), overseeing the design and hardware teams, and was recognized as a top scholar in the Washington Aerospace Scholars program. Carson is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington, building upon foundational education from Bellevue College and Liberty Sr High School.
