Edward Baranoski

VP, Bob Davids Chapter at Society for American Baseball Research

Edward Baranoski has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles across different companies. Edward started their career at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 1990 as a Group Leader, where they served until 2004. Edward then joined DARPA as a Program Manager from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they worked at Argon ST as the Director of Advanced Technologies from 2008 to 2009. Edward then joined the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity as an Office Director from 2009 to 2015. From 2015, they worked at STR, initially as the VP Sensors Division until 2023, and then transitioned into a consulting role. Edward is currently affiliated with the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) as the VP of the Bob Davids Chapter.

Edward Baranoski has a strong educational background in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Edward pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Drexel University from 1978 to 1983. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The George Washington University between 1983 and 1985. Lastly, Edward completed their academic journey by earning a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 1985 to 1989.
