Phyllis Grummon

Director Of Planning And Education at Society for College and University Planning

Phyllis Grummon has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Phyllis started their career as a Consultant at General Systems in 1981 and stayed there until 1985. Phyllis then joined the State of Michigan as the Director of Employability Skills and MMS in 1987, where they worked until 1991. Phyllis then moved on to Michigan State University, where they served as the Director of University Planning for over a decade, from 1991 to 2003. Afterward, they joined the Society for College and University Planning as the Director of Planning and Education in 2003. In 2012, Phyllis founded Future Now Strategic Insights, a role they held for a year before retiring in 2013.

Phyllis Grummon received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Education from Cornell University, where they studied from 1969 to 1973. Phyllis then went on to complete their doctoral studies at the University of Michigan, earning a PhD in Psychology and Education from 1974 to 1982.
