E.J. Jaax, ​CFP® has had a diverse work experience spanning several industries. E.J. started their career at ConocoPhillips in 1981, where they held various roles including Managing Director, Senior Engineer, and Project Engineer. After leaving ConocoPhillips in 2006, they worked as the General Manager for Mack Energy Corporation from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they joined Aspect Wealth Management as a Financial Advisor from 2010 to 2018. In 2018, they moved to Retirement Income Concepts as a Financial Planner and Wealth Advisor. In 2020, they transitioned to Tactive, where they served as a Wealth Advisor. Currently, they hold the position of San Antonio Area Chapter President, Speaker, and Financial Literacy Educator at The Society for Financial Awareness, a non-profit organization focused on providing financial education.

E.J. Jaax, CFP®, holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University. E.J. has also completed the CFP® Education and Certification Program at Kaplan University and obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ or CFP® professional designation from the CFP Board in November 2012. In addition, they have obtained the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ or CRPC® Professional Designation from the College for Financial Planning in January 2011. E.J. Jaax has also passed the Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law Exam and the Series 7 - General Securities Representative Exam administered by FINRA in June 2010.
