David Topor

East TN Chapter President at The Society for Financial Awareness

David Topor has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. David started their career in 1991 at Topor Motor Sales Inc, a family-owned Dodge dealership, where they served as the General Sales Manager and Partner until 2007. During this time, they gained extensive experience in marketing, inventory management, sales, and staff development. In 1992, they also held a role as the General Sales Manager and Managing Partner at Topor Ford Inc until 1999. Following this, they worked as a Sales & Leasing Consultant at Airport Honda from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they joined IntelliPlan Inc as a Financial Services Professional & Estate Planning Advisor. David then transitioned to Asset Positioning Services in the same year, where they served as a Senior Account Manager until 2010. Since 2010, they have held the role of East TN Chapter President at The Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA), a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating financial illiteracy through workshops and consultations.

David Topor attended Kenyon College from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During their time at Kenyon College, they focused on studying Political Science. Additionally, from 1984 to 1986, they also attended the Austro-American Educational Institute, where they obtained another Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Culture and Political Science.
