Don Stranathan

Don Stranathan is a dedicated patient advocate with extensive experience in various roles related to lung cancer awareness and support. Currently serving as a Patient Ambassador for the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation and a member of the Patient Advisory Council at Kaiser Permanente, Don's commitment to patient advocacy is further demonstrated through roles such as Ambassador for PatientsLikeMe and participation in the Stakeholder Advisory Council for the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer. Additionally, Don contributes to research evaluations as a Consumer Reviewer for the United States Department of Defense and holds positions in multiple advisory boards, including the Survivor Advisory Board for SURVIVEiT® and the Survivor Advisory Council for LUNGevity Foundation. Don’s journey as a Stage 4 lung cancer survivor since 2009 enriches efforts in promoting awareness and support in the cancer community. Educational background includes attendance at Rio Hondo Community College and Appleton High School West.
