Norris Boothe possesses extensive experience in forestry, having served in various roles since 1975. Currently, Norris is the Secretary for the Inland Empire Society of American Foresters and has been with this organization since January 2013 in a volunteer capacity. Norris has worked as a Forester for the Coeur d'Alene Tribal Forestry since January 1997 and also has been affiliated with the Coeur d'Alene Tribe since January 1991, focusing on timber sales, silviculture, planning, prescribed burning, and firefighting. Prior experience includes a role as Forester with the Bureau of Indian Affairs from September 1978 to December 1991 and as a Forestry Aide with the US Forest Service from June 1975 to September 1978. Norris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from the University of Idaho and an Associate of Science degree in Forestry from North Idaho College, along with a high school diploma from Kellogg High School.
