Russell Patterson, GISP, PMP, LEED AP BD C, F.SAME, has a diverse work experience in various industries. Russell started their career as a Regional Transportation and Environmental Analyst at the Southern Tier West Regional Planning and Development Board in 1999. Russell then worked as a GIS Programmer Analyst Intern at the New York State Public Service Commission from 2000 to 2001. After that, Russell joined Zapata Incorporated, where they held multiple roles such as GeoIntegration Program Support, Project Manager, and Client Services. During their time at Zapata Incorporated, they supported federal and private sector projects related to GIS, planning, environmental management, and compliance.
