Nasrin Golzadeh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental science and business development. Currently serving as an Editorial Board Member for the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), Golzadeh previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Alpha-El Inc., a Northern Indigenous-owned company focused on remote surveillance technology for wildlife monitoring. As the inaugural Director of Business Development for Mitacs in Yukon, Golzadeh fostered partnerships between academia and industry to drive innovation. Additional roles include Communication Vice-Chair for IEEE and various internship experiences related to environmental health and contaminant research. Golzadeh holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Health from McGill University and a Master's degree from UQAM. Awards include the NSERC CREATE-EI Training Award and multiple Graduate Excellence Awards.
