Sharon Jenkins, Ed.D., has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several organizations and sectors. Sharon is currently serving as the Executive Director at the Consortium for Universal Healthcare Credentialing, Inc. (C4UHC) since 2022, where they have successfully increased membership and facilitated collaborations with prominent healthcare stakeholders.

Before their current role, they worked as the Senior Director of Development and Marketing at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) starting from 2018. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2018, they held the position of EVP Financial Development & Communications at the Armed Services YMCA National Headquarters. Sharon also worked as a Leadership Consultant at Academics without Borders (AWB) from 2015 to 2016.

Their experience in the non-profit sector includes serving as the Chief Development Officer, VP Strategy at the National Council on Aging from 2013 to 2015. Here, they led strategic program and fund development efforts and established relationships with key industry players.

Before transitioning to the non-profit sector, Sharon Jenkins worked at various organizations, including the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital, the American Red Cross, the Federation of American Scientists, City of Hope, and National Association of Manufacturers - NAM, where they held roles such as Director of Development, Senior Major Gifts Officer, Major Gifts Officer, and Senior Regional Manager.

With their broad range of experience, Sharon Jenkins has demonstrated expertise in strategic leadership, fundraising, development, marketing, and fostering partnerships across multiple industries.

Sharon Jenkins, Ed.D., has an extensive education history. Sharon completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Leadership and Learning in Organizations at Vanderbilt University, with an expected end year of 2022. Prior to this, they earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Psychology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 1993. In 1989, Sharon obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Before that, they received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University in 1988.

Sharon has also pursued executive education programs to enhance their skills and knowledge. Sharon completed a program in Strategy, Building & Sustaining Competitive Advantage at Harvard Business School. Additionally, they participated in an executive education program in Organizational Leadership at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sharon has obtained several certifications relevant to their professional career. Sharon received certification as an Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-Global) in 2007. Previously, in 2003, they became a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) through CFRE International. Sharon also holds certification as Group 2.Social Behavioral Investigators and Key Personnel from the CITI Program, earned in December 2021.
