Katie Zahrt

Katie Zahrt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in partnership development and alumni engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Partnerships and Development at SPE: Inspiring Plastics Professionals since January 2018, Katie has held several leadership roles, including Director of Development and Director, Stewardship and Annual Giving. Katie previously worked at Kettering University from May 2011 to June 2016, where responsibilities included directing a comprehensive stewardship program aimed at enhancing relationships with alumni and friends, as well as managing alumni engagement initiatives. Early career experiences include roles at Muskegon Community College as an Adjunct History Instructor, the National Park Service as an Interpretation Park Ranger, and Eastern Michigan University as a Graduate Assistant. Katie earned a Master of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grand Valley State University.
