Greg Symons has a diverse work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on peer-to-peer lending and innovative financial products. Greg co-founded and served as CEO of Financial Administration Services (NZ), where they managed lending and investment portfolios for various New Zealand financial institutions. From there, they went on to co-found and serve as CEO of Hopscotch Money (NZ and Australia), which aimed to disrupt the consumer finance market through online technology and bank funding facilities. Symons then founded TVM Nexus, contributing to the company's growth until 2009. In 2007, they founded ClearMatch, a peer-to-peer lending platform that allows investors to invest across multiple asset classes. Greg later founded SocietyOne in 2011, Australia's first peer-to-peer lending and investment marketplace. In 2014, Symons co-founded Getcreditscore.com.au, a service that helps consumers discover their credit scores. Overall, Symons has extensive experience in launching and leading innovative financial ventures.

Greg Symons attended Damelin in 1995, where they studied Business Management and Marketing. After their time at Damelin, Greg went on to attend Howick High School.
