Kyusong Lee

Kyusong Lee is the CTO and Co-founder of SOCO.AI, a conversational AI company established in November 2018, which emerged from the Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon. Prior to this role, Kyusong served as a Postdoctoral Associate and Visiting Research Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on the DialPort Project, an Open Domain Spoken Dialog System. Kyusong gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, specializing in Document Classification and Knowledge Base, and at NAVER Corp, concentrating on Spoken Dialog Systems. Additionally, Kyusong contributed to Microsoft Research Asia, working on Open Extracted Question Answering. Educationally, Kyusong completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligence at Pohang University of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2016.
