Shanzhong Zhu

Shanzhong Zhu is an accomplished engineering leader specializing in machine learning and data platforms, currently serving as the Head of Engineering for Fraud & Risk at Socure since June 2021, where Shanzhong leads teams to develop advanced identity fraud detection products. Prior experience includes a tenure at Electronic Arts as Director of Engineering for Data Platform and ML, managing a global cloud-based big data analytics and AI platform, and roles as Senior Software Engineer focusing on big data analytical platforms. Shanzhong has also contributed to open-source projects and QnA search engine development during time at Ask.com and has an academic background as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Riverside. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside, and a BS in Computer Science from Zhejiang University.
