Jesse Anderson

Jesse Anderson is a seasoned professional in the field of data strategy and technology, currently serving as Managing Director at Big Data Institute since 2014, where the focus is on mentoring teams in best practices and efficient resource utilization for Big Data projects. In addition to that role, Jesse advises at Divirod Inc. on data strategy and architecture, hosts The Data Dream Team podcast at Soda, and serves as EO Accelerator Learning Chair for EO Reno-Tahoe. Jesse is also a Committer for Apache Beam at The Apache Software Foundation and has held positions on the Technical Advisory Board at Skills Matter. Previous experience includes curriculum development and instruction at Cloudera, software engineering at Intuit, technical leadership at Dibbs, and management at Bright Systems, alongside a strong involvement in the Hadoop community. Jesse's educational background includes attendance at Billings West High School.
