Joshua Erb

Joshua Erb has held various roles in the past, beginning with an Exchange Student at Rotary International in 2008. In 2013, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Chicago, followed by a Constituent Services Intern at the Office of Senator Dick Durbin in 2014. In the same year, they were an Election Observation Assistant at the International Republican Institute. From 2015 to 2016, they were an Analyst at M Powered Strategies, and then a Data Scientist and Sr. Consultant at Excella Consulting. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Software Engineer and Support Engineer at Mapbox, and is currently a Software Engineer at Sofar Ocean.

Joshua Erb obtained their B.A. in Global Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2013. Joshua then attended the University of Chicago and obtained their Master's degree in Social Sciences in 2014. In 2016, they obtained a Professional Certification in Data Science from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Translation Studies (French) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013.
