The executive team at Sofar Ocean has a history of working in various tech and engineering companies, as well as conducting research in oceanography. They have experience in founding companies, working as staff software engineers, and being assistant professors. They attended Brown University for Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Naval Postgraduate School for Physical Oceanography, and Technische Universiteit Delft for Environmental Fluid Mechanics/Physical Oceanography.
