Shiza Abid

Shiza Abid began their work experience as a Junior Software Engineer at Softronic Systems (Pvt) Limited in March 2019. Shiza held this role until June 2023. In September 2022, they joined Soffos.ai as an AI Engineer, and they are currently still working there.

Shiza Abid has a strong educational background in computer science and data science. Shiza received their Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Karachi University, graduating between 2015 and 2018. Shiza also completed their high school education at The City School, specializing in Computer Science from 1998 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Shiza has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. Shiza completed a course on Data-driven Decision Making from PwC Australia in June 2020. Shiza also completed the Exploratory Data Analysis with Seaborn course from Coursera and the Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow course from deeplearning.ai in the same month and year. Furthermore, Shiza obtained a certification in SQL for Data Science from the University of California, Davis in April 2020. In December 2019, they obtained the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification. Prior to that, they completed the Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning course from deeplearning.ai, as well as the Data Analysis with Python course from IBM, both in May 2019. Shiza also has certifications in Databases and SQL for Data Science from IBM and Natural Language Processing from the National Research University - Higher School of Economics, although the specific completion dates for these certifications are not provided.
